PHOTOGRAPHIC EXHIBITION
A total of 110 entries were received, which were all displayed in an exhibition held in the Hall on 6th September 2009. A public vote during the exhibition selected the best thirteen images which were then used for a 2009 calendar. Two copies of the calendar were presented as the first prize and one copy as the second.
We are very grateful to all those who submitted their photographs, and to those who attended the exhibition and gave us their calendar choices. There were so very many good photographs that it is a shame we had to choose just thirteen.
The exhibition and calendar proved to be a big success, raising a total of £1,249 towards the new Hall, a little down on last year due mainly to a hold-up in the printing of the calendars.
